Zulultrade Results so far

Ok I setup 8 demo accounts with Zulutrade, and their managed forex accounts, www.forexexperts.zulutrade.com .

On the whole the Zulutrade results are very positive, most are in profit and the couple that are in drawdown it is easy to see why. Human error on my part.

Having studied my Zulutrade results it is clear that the fault lies with me and not the Zulutrade system. Greed and stupidity by me have resulted in some of my Zulutrade demo accounts making the odd losing trade.

How to improve my Zulutrade results for the future?

Reduce risk settings and exposure to drawdown when setting up your Zulutrade demo by carefully filtering out the riskier traders profiles.

Don't choose Zulutrade traders that have good potential profit results but have large drawdown, these are high risk traders so be careful and monitor those guys but personally I would be very wary of trading live funds with traders like that.

Think carefully about using Zulutrade traders that make multiple concurrent trades using the same or similar currency pairs because all you are doing is doubling your risk, not a good idea.

So to conclude my Zulutrade results and my observations on how to make trading using Zulutrade more profitable I will be reducing my settings to 1 lot per trade, $50k demo, or 0.1 lot on my £5000 live account. Only allowing 1 trade per currency pair per Zulutrade traders profile. I will allow a maximum of 2 trades per Zulutrade trader but will monitor this very carefully.I will also be filtering out all Zulutrade traders that have a larger than sensible Drawdown.

I hope this helps people make a descision on how to choose their own Zulutrade trader profiles, I will post some of my own Zulutrade results in a short while.

July 2009 latest Zulutrade results

I am having very mixed results trading zulutrade using my demo accounts so far. As mentioned in my last post zulutrade is a very good system but you do need a good understanding of how forex works and also have adequate forex money management skills. I now have a number of people who have signed up for zulutrade under me which is brilliant because I can now see their results as well. I am very pleased to report most are doing very well.I can only assume that the few that aren't doing so well have little or no previous knowledge of trading forex and the same for forex money management.

What I hope to do in the future regarding my quest to help my readers become profitable forex traders is to use a more two way method of communication. Rather than you just read about my exploits testing various methods of trading forex using services like zulutrade and www.fx500club.com live online forex school. I want more of you to signup to my newsletter or email me or both even.


I am now 10 days into this months zulutrade demo trading accounts, I have studied the profiles of the traders carfully and most are doing very well for me, of the 10 demo accounts I have running the zulutrade results so far have been very good with only one showing a small loss, about 5%. The other 9 zulutrade demo accounts are all showing profits of between 2% and 22%. Remember I am using very strict money management settings so for 10 days of zulutrade results 2% profit is amazing 22% profit is unbelievable.

One extremely important thing I have noticed about my zulutrade results is that the drawdown figures they quote are completely missleading and are meaning less. I say this because a certain provider I have been using over the past two months quotes a drawdown figure of 295 pips yet I have losses greater than than that on my accounts one being over 900 pips. This is not limited to just one trade provider and is very concerning. The other thing worth noting is that unless you are able to watch the zulutraders actual trades as they are live OR study every zulutrade trade results after the event you will never know how much real drawdown took place before those trade closed with 10 or 20 pips profit.


Some of these zulutrade trade providers make multiple trades all day long closing them for 1o or so pips, they have brilliant win records in the 95% bracket etc but what you don't often see is the massive drawdown some of those 10 pip winners incure. It doesn't take einstein to work out that 50, 10 pip winners can be totally wiped out by just one 500 pip loser.


Every zulutrade trade provider is different and i'm sure some would never trade with these stupidly large drawdown figures, this is why I am testing and testing then carefully studying and reviewing my zulutrade results before using real money with zulutrade. To be fair to zulutrade they do allow you to put your own stop loss levels on any provider you use. That's when 22% growth of a demo account fast becomes 22% loss or worse still an empty account in record time.


If you want to learn all about forex money management and also how to become a profitable forex trader then join a live online forex school, like the one I am a member of, the www.fx500club.com. The trader teachers in that live forex trading school will teach you never to enter a trade that has the potential to lose more than your profit target. That is if your trade has a potential to make you 50 pips then it should have a stoploss (drawdown potential ) of no more than 50 pips, this is called a risk reward of 1-1, a 2 - 1 risk reward would be a trade that makes 100 pips with a stoploss of 50 and so on.


This zulutrade review is meant to be totally impartial, I will tell it as I find it and I have the results in black and white to backup any claims I may make. I still think the zulutrade system is brilliant and innovative but as with anything to do with forex and real money, proper research is criticle. The fact that zulutrade are so upfront with their results is in itsself laudable and can only be a good thing.


It is important to note in this review of zulutrade services that the traders, providers, brokers and zulutrade themselves all make money in commissions from every LOT traded regardless of whether the trades were winning trades or losers. EVERY TRADE, EVERY LOT.
