Full Time Forex Trader

I am indicator free and trade only candlestick analysis and Price action at support and resistance. I have come full circle with my learning / trading. The simplest methods are the best.

I now spend just an hour or two a day trading at most and bank 2% - 5% of my account every day risking just 1% per trade. For me this is the right way to trade and I am sure it would suit most others as well. I have found the best time to trade is one hour before Frankfurt open, two hours before London open, there are often 20 - 50 pips moves dependant upon currency pair traded, but you avoid the spikes and fakeouts of the FO and LO. Hi, I have created this website as a resource to help and inspire would be traders to become profitable. It is also a place for existing Forex and commodities traders learn and improve thier profitability.

I have been interested in forex for many years now, but like most beginners I downloaded a free platform and proceeded to demolish numerous demo accounts. However after a few years break last year I decided if others can make money at this then so should I.

I set out to learn how to trade Forex like a pro. This involved 100's of hours of trawling the internet, visiting forums, asking questions and sifting the good from the bad.

Have a good read around my website and hopefully I can save you all those hours of research and also any potential live trading losses you may make whilst learning the hard way like me.

I trade manually, I am a technical trader, by that I mean I trade purely price action and chart patterns, you will hear the term fundamental traders, these traders trade economic news but unfortunately by the time we home traders get the news it is generally old news and as such has already been factored into the technical charts.

One last thing, I was lucky to have found a group of Guys that trade live for a living. They were a godsend and helped me to get to where I am today. I strongly advise you try to do the same. I have a page with links to some useful Live Trading rooms, check them out they are priceless.

UPDATE 2008

I cannot stress enough how good the guys at the www.FX500club.com and the www.fxmonkeyschool.com are. Dan Armitage, James Boord and the fxpimp, Zak Lloyd are trading legends. I joined about 3 months ago and it has revolutionised my trading skills. I used to be happy with 40 pips a day and trade a full day watching the 15 minute charts, now through the fxmonkeyschool I have realised how much easier it is to trade the hourly charts and now my average weekly pippage is between 500 and a 1000 pips, amazing.

I have absolutely no financial reward for recommending them, I am just truly grateful, they work so hard to make sure everyone learns to trade in a carfull and culculated manner.

UPDATE 2010

As with everything in life the more you practice the better you get at it, trading is no exception.
The fx500club still keeps getting better, I am in contact with me very first one on one mentor and he has made some amazing improvements to his trading methods.

Trading forex profitably will never happen overnight, some may get it in months, most will take a few years, give it the time it deserves, treat it as a forex trading apprenticeship and you will get your rewards. The earnings potential form home trading are limitless. Think about that carefully.
