Trading Forex using fractal analysis

Put simply, the ups and downs of a price of a forex pair create waves, peaks and troughs.

Each of these waves, a swing up or down has an internal structure. One swing of a wave on the 4 hour chart can be looked at internally using the lower time frame i.e the 1 hour. You need at least a divisor of 4 to properly see the internal structure of a price swing.

Looking at the 1 hour chart now we can see the series of peaks and troughs that make up the single swing on the 4 hour. Neat!!

So to see the internals of a single price swing on the 1 hour we look at the 15 min chart. Hey presto.

This can also be done for the 30 min , 5 min and 1 minute charts.

This is technical analysis of the forex currency price action based on the fractal nature of the swings high and low of these waves in the currency markets. We trade these movements of peaks and troughs based on trend analysis and levels of support and resistance.
